In next eyar, she had a starring role in the paranormal drama-thriller series “Intruders”. For her role as Eleven in the science fiction horror series “Stranger Things” (since 2016), she got the 43rd Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series

In 2019, Brown made her feature film debut, in the sequel to “Godzilla, titled Godzilla: King of the Monsters”. She also will reprise this role in “Godzilla vs. Kong” in 2020.

Brown plays the main role in the film adaptation of “Enola Holmes Mysteries” (2020).

In March 2019, it was announced Brown will be starring as Suzy in the film adaptation of “The Thing About Jellyfish” by Ali Benjamin.
